MaPE - Master in European Planning
The MAPE Master's course is aimed at professionals whose work involves EU initiatives or entails use of EU funds. Although open to graduates of any discipline (who pass the initial selection) the course is highly specialised: it offers the in-depth economic, statistical and legal skills that are expected of an all-round EU specialist. In order to facilitate participation of working students, coursework is concentrated on weekends (Fridays and Saturdays) and the compulsory final training period can be undertaken at the students' original workplace. Non-working students are offered internships in public and private bodies both locally and abroad. Mape also offers a range of complementary activities such as: restricted and public seminars, field trips to EU institutions in Brussels, foreign language laboratories.
