XIV European IP Seminar on Geography of Water

CRENoS - University of Cagliari

The University of Cagliari will host the XIV European IP Seminar on Geography of Water, one of the oldest summer schools in Europe. The Seminar, funded by the European Union within the Erasmus Intensive Programme framework, will take place from June 26th to July 7th, 2011, with the participation of the Universities of Cagliari, Cluj-Napoca, Munich, Padua, Pécs, Prague, Seville, Sofia, Tartu, Udine and Zadar. The Seminar will focus on environmental conflicts and sustainable water policies in the Mediterranean Region, with Sardinia as main case study, analyzed from political, economic and naturalistic perspectives.

 

CRENoS, together with ENAS (Regional Water Authority), the Regional Park of Molentargius- Saline, the Municipalities of Orroli and Villasimius and the Marine Protected Area of Capo Carbonara, will support the event.
